HOUSTON WALKWAY LEVELING
Make the next step feel like a step again.
A sunken walkway panel can turn an ordinary path into a sudden change in height. We evaluate the concrete and, when the slab is sound, use traditional mudjacking to raise it toward the neighboring panels.
Request an assessmentWhere uneven walks show up
Settlement can create a lip between sidewalk sections, at a front entry, or along the path from a driveway. The difference may be easy to miss until someone catches a toe on it. Water collecting beside a low panel is another sign that the grade deserves a closer look.
We check the full path, not just the most visible edge, so the proposed repair addresses the transition people actually use.
A lift for suitable concrete
For a largely intact panel, small access holes allow mud slurry to be pumped beneath the slab. The slurry fills voids and lifts the concrete in controlled stages. The holes are patched after the final position is checked. We do not use polyurethane foam.
If roots are pushing concrete up, a slab is fractured or crumbling, or the cause of movement needs another repair, lifting may not be the best answer. We will explain what we find.
Plan for the people using the path
Point out the route people take, the edge that concerns you, and any HOA or property manager notice. We can describe a proposed repair so you can check it against your association's requirements. Your crew will explain when the area is ready to use after the work.
