HOA NOTICE GUIDE

Start with the slab and the notice.

An HOA notice about uneven concrete can feel urgent. The useful first step is to identify the exact area, the deadline, and what the association asks you to document. Then choose a repair that fits the actual condition of the slab.

Request an assessment

Read the notice closely

Mark the panel or edge the HOA identified. Note any photo, deadline, inspection rule, contractor requirement, or request for proof of completion. If the area may be shared or outside your property, confirm responsibility with the association and your property records before arranging work.

HOA rules vary. Your association decides what it will accept; we can explain our proposed concrete repair for you to review with them.

Match the repair to the concrete

A sound slab that has settled may be a candidate for mudjacking. The method pumps mud slurry beneath the concrete to fill voids and raise the panel. We do not use polyurethane foam. A raised edge caused by another condition may call for grinding, and a badly broken slab may need replacement. No single method fits every notice.

We assess the slab, the height difference, and likely cause of movement before recommending a lift.

Keep the next step simple

Send us the notice wording or describe the flagged area when you request an assessment. Tell us whether it is a driveway or a walkway and when the HOA needs a response. We can discuss whether mudjacking is appropriate and what repair description you can share with the association.
